REVIVAL OF GARDENS AND BLOGS

Posted by JW

REVIVAL OF OLD BLOG AND GARDENS

It has been a long time between blog posts.  Over the past two years working thru some health issues am able to work in the gardens and focus on issues.  This summer I have concentrated on revival of the gardens.  Now I am also working on my blogs.  Starting with this post the slide show is showing current garden status.  I am working towards more specific subjects in future posts.

REVIVALTHE LILIES ARE BLOOMING

THE LILIES ARE BLOOMING

Compost and mulched the gardens last year. Plants have responded to that tender loving care. Last summer very dry, this summer ample rain fall.  We have not watered much.

REVIVAL

HIBISCUS

This is a Hibiscus that grows well in warmer zones.  Doing very well here, thinking of moving it to Florida this winter.  If left here it most likely would not survive the winter.  Needs minimum temperatures of about 65 deg. F.

REVIVAL LIZA AND JOHNS HABITAT

Revival of my other blog LIZA AND JOHNS HABITAT Lots of activity in the habitat this summer.  Deer, Turkeys, Barred Owls, Frogs, Snakes, Butterflies, Voles, and many pollinators. Working on a post there now.

Not much else to say here, have taken a lot of photos this summer and will be using them in the blogs.

That’s it for this post, hope you enjoyed. Comments and new subscribers are welcome.

  2. Hope you are feeling well, and your gardens and yard look lovely. I’m hoping to find a hardy hibiscus that might work in this area. 🙂

  3. Wishing you best success in reviving blogs and gardens- it is something I have struggled with, too. Health issues, as well. I think the focus is dictated by the fact of aging!
Your gardens look fantastic to me!
I took a break that turned into a hiatus (unplanned) and hopefully your lead will inspire me… and both you and I, old bloggers now, will find new spurts of posting creativity. I liked the posts on your habitat blog- such great photos.
