If you are in a post page and the comment box is not open
you can go to the top of that post and click on the comments link or the Post Title. That will open the comments.
Another way is to click on the post in the side bar "RECENT
POSTS" and if you select a post from the "INDEX PAGE" it will
open with comments active.
If you click on a comment made in that post "RECENT COMMENTS" it will also open with in the comment area.
