LABOR DAY WEEK END

HUMMINGBIRDS ARE STILL WITH US

As the Weekend came to an end, we realized that we spent it quietly.   I did manage to mow and clip the entire lawn and some remote areas.   Started setting up the Bird Feeder Stations for winter.  Hummingbirds are still here, at least 2 females.  The rain and wet weather has taken its toll on the gardens.  Cucumbers are still producing and summer Squash.

A few photos of plants that are still blooming and a new type slide show that we are working on.  The slideshow has a few kinks but it works fairly well.

The Slide Show turns on automatically with the sound muted.  You can pause it and run it manually.  It will stop at the end and ask if you want to replay.

We are in the third day of rain here.  Weather man says clearing tomorrow but cool and cloudy.   We have some planting to do hopefully will be able to work in the gardens this weekend.

That’s it for this post.  Don’t forget to leave your comments.

  1. My breath was taken away by the hummers- but that was after I was wowed by the photos of your flowers. I love morning glories and yours are so lush. Don’t know that the black eyed susans aren’t even more pretty, though.
