NARCISSUS/DAFFODIL ONE TOUGH LITTLE PLANT,  GROWS ALMOST EVERYWHERE WITHOUT HELP

*

We have Daffodil all over the place,   Some we planted 10 or 15 years ago and some planted last year.   As we walk around our gardens  Daffodil’s are emerging and blooming and we recognize their presence  in the gardens.  You become emerged in their existence as they present their beauty and willingness to live and survive.  From the oldest ones proclaiming how well they have evolved to the newest ones proudly poking through the surface for the first time to claim a spot.   In the spring as the garden is awaking the Daffodil’s are the leaders welcoming  you to feel their warmth and proclaiming that spring is here.

  1. I always enjoy looking at your photos — and these pics of the daffodils are wonderful — such a cheerful flower during what can sometimes be a cold and wet time of year.

Good Morning Ellie: This is an unusual spring in our gardens. Daffodils did great and a lot of the perennials are up and running. Hummingbirds and Orioles have arrived in full force.

    Have a great day,
    John
