NOT MORE SNOW
ANOTHER TEN INCHES
Monday morning we awoke to another snow storm. It snowed until about 3:00 in the afternoon with a total accumulation of about 10 inches. Lots of activity at the Bird Feeders, no sign of Deer or any other creatures. It’s now Tuesday morning and it is snowing again. Looks like we may get another inch or so. Liza took a few pictures yesterday, but Grand Kids where here utilizing our computers so was difficult to post to the blog.

BLUEBIRDS ARRIVED EARLY
DISGUSTED WITH THE NEW SNOW
A FEW BLUE JAYS TODAY
Enjoy your day, See you next time, John and Liza

Oh it looks so cold out there in those photos! Until I started blogging I did not realise how important it was to get the bird feeders close to the computer window. Everything here is still frozen in the ground so I can’t move mine yet…….. and then I need to get my windows cleaned.
Did you take those photos outside or from inside as the quality of the little birds is very good on the images especailly like your little one looking disgusted at the snow – is quite cute!

Can spring come to early? You really got pounded with new snow. It is a pretty one though you may not think so.
The shots of the Bluebirds are just wonderful. I keep trying to lure more into my yard. Such a beautiful bird.

HI Rosie: A lot of the pictures where taken through the glass window. The ones that tend to have a gray hue are through the window. Some times you can’t tell. It also depends on the camera we are using.
Enjoy your Evening,
John

HI Carol: I have made feeders in the past but don’t have a way of making them anymore. The one’s Now using I added the pegs to them. Purchased the logs at local Bird supply stores. http://www.wildbirdsforever.com/suetfeed.html is a good mail order source they have with and without pegs. You may be able to find a local source. Still snowing here adding up to about 1 inch.
Have a great Evening,
John

HI Lona: Yes it is beautiful out there, if we tried to paint a picture like it Mother Nature has it allover us. As for luring birds to your yard you first need the basics, Shelter (Cover as in trees and woods, Water and natural food) You can supplement what ever is missing to enhance the situation.
Thanks for stopping by,
John

You’re making me jealous with those snow shots! We got rain only last night. Boo!
I thought I better use my Good to Grow name instead of Liza to avoid confusion!

Love the deep piles of snow there
But I have to say that what I enjoy the most are the bird portraits. I haven’t had bluebirds here for years.

Good Evening Ilona: Deep snow almost gone again, but more in the forecast. Snowing right now. We usually get the most and deepest snow storms in late February or early March. Florida looks real good right now. Will be trying to set up a good internet connection in Florida this trip. If it works will do a post from Florida.
See ya when we get back.
